TENDON PAIN

What is tendon pain?
Tendon pain involves irritation, inflammation, or injury to the tendons, which connect muscles to bones. It can occur in sports, during daily activities, or after overuse, affecting movement, strength, and function. At MTE Rehab & Performance, located in Redruth, we assess and manage tendon pain, helping patients from Camborne, Pool, Hayle, Truro, Falmouth, Helston, and Penzance recover safely.

  • Patellar tendinopathy (knee) – irritation of the tendon below the kneecap from jumping, squatting, or daily stair climbing

  • Rotator cuff tendinopathy (shoulder) – pain and weakness in shoulder movements from lifting, reaching, or sports

  • Tennis elbow / Golfer’s elbow – tendon irritation at the elbow from gripping, swinging, or repetitive wrist movements

  • Other tendons – Glute, hamstring, quadricep tendons are also commonly effected.
